In case you forgot:
"…nor shall any statw deprive any person of life, liberty. or property, without due process of law, nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. That’s from Amendment 14 sect. 1 of the Constitution. Emphasis was mine. So, DeWine waddya say to that?

Just to be clear, he is defending a law discriminating against gay people on the grounds that discrimination against gay people is on the decline?

So he is arguing that they need to keep the marriage ban so as to be sure to maintain a certain “proper” level of state sanctioned discrimination against gay people?
