I hate the NRA.
Seconded.
It’s a broken record. Guns are the problem…no we need more guns. You are insane…no your infringing on my constitutional rights. I’m sick of it, sick of wingnuts, and sick of the gun lobby.
I’m assuming, because all schools should be, that this was a gun free zone? And yet, the innocent-totally never in the wrong, gun snuck in or just waltzed in.
Like DUI checks, if the cops stop drivers at a busy intersection on a Friday or Saturday night, a very high percentage will be under some kind of influence or hammered already.
Even in a supposed ‘gun free zone’ all sorts of people, sometimes the lest expected, are still carrying. I know girls that have a gun in their purse at all times and others with guns stashed all over the place. They don’t remove them as they enter and exit no gun zones.
And also, many people combine alcohol or all sorts of drugs with the carrying of deadly weapons and are sort of anxious to get to use them-to get their turn and to be famous for a day.
Point is, there is no longer a safe place, there is no get away from the danger area left to relax at.
Reality is, we are all sitting ducks in the wrong scenario at the wrong time and that gruesome fact is just glossed over as, oh well, statistics are a part of everything.
Fuck the NRA, they…do…not…care, in the least, nor do the manufacturers. This battle has to be won in the hearts and minds of majority America and with those that are already fully on aboard for common sense regulations and a scaling back from the militarized populace that we have become.
Match penalties to the amount of bullets fired, to the list of injured and especially to the dead. Pull a trigger-go to jail, injure or kill with that action and go to jail for a very long time and forfeit all assets required in order to make amends.
America has work to do!

LAPIERRE: You know, five years ago after the Virginia Tech tragedy, when I said we should put armed security in every school, the media called me crazy. But what if – what if when Adam Lanza started shooting his way into Sandy Hook Elementary School last Friday, he’d been confronted by qualified armed security?
