One would normally have empathy for one in the throws of darkness leading to suicide, but the cowardly nature of deception while “chasing three suspects” clouds the issue.
Suicide is an extremely selfish act in itself but, the family is going to have an very difficult task coming to terms with this latest development.
Can anyone imagine had the cops found the “kids” he accused of "shooting " him? Can you see three innocent people being charged with murder and being sentenced to death had the police been able to find anyone even remotely matching his descriptions of the imaginary perps he was “chasing”?
All done in an effort to make sure his family got bigger benefits for his death.
“Carefully staged suicide,” or as we call it in Chicago: “murder with cover-up.” Read about the mess his boss is in. Sure, suicide…that’ll fly.
