Discussion: Obscure Law Drawing Focus In Russia Probe Rarely Ends In Prosecution

How is this law obscure when it says right on the form that failure to account for all foreign contacts and divulge them to the government upon getting a security clearance, is subject to criminal prosecution? Or failure to register as a foreign agent is also open to interpretation? Bullshit. Seems pretty clear to me. Why people aren’t prosecuted for it is another matter altogether. White collar crime is rarely prosecuted like other crimes, but it makes it no less egregious. Just because the government doesn’t do what it should doesn’t mean its OK. I hear the same shit about the emoluments clause, nepotism laws in hiring, and all manner of conflicts of interests, even traitorous acts. Just fucking excuses for not doing the right thing and forcing the system to take itself seriously.

Its like the moment a boss discovers you’ve lied about a criminal conviction for a felony on an employment form…You get fired. Lying on financial papers submitted to the government for any gov’t subsidies or contracts is also not OK. Is that an obscure law too?

Eric Tucker of AP…go fuck yourself.
