Discussion: Obama's WH Spokesman Doesn't 'Feel A Ton Of Sympathy' For Sean Spicer

“I was very fortunate to be on a team of people that hung close together,” he added.

It didn’t hurt that they were intelligent, well informed, knowledgeable and experienced in their areas of responsibility and worked for a man who was all of that and more, either.

Shorter Earnest: “Lie down with dogs, get up with fleas!”

Remarkable how he pulls off the perfect balance of forthrightness, tact, and dignity. But then again, he always did. Remember when you trusted the executive branch and rarely if ever felt shamed by it? So do I. Barely.

Yeah, you know, adults.

Spicer is a flea already

Yeah. How could he not have known that when he signed the visitor log at Bellevue, he was signing up to see someone whose grasp on reality was tenuous at best?

Beclowning of Spicer who risks becoming an internet meme and other bigly revelations.

I dunno. I just might feel bad for Spicy when Trump flays him on live television for May sweeps. “GREAT DAYTIME RATINGS!!!”

@mattinpa Just think. Competent people were in charge fewer than one hundred days ago.

Did I miss something? Has Spicer been hinting for sympathy or did Ernest spontaneously bring it up himself?

Personally, I feel Spicer is a true-believer and part of the problem. After all, he can quit at any time if he thinks things have gone off the rails.

Sympathy for anyone in this Administration is not even remotely a question.

Unleash the Earnest! Bravo, Josh, for actually telling the truth about The Mouth of Sauron and his boss.

I was thinking Wormtongue and Saruman but yours is better.

I wish we didn’t hear from Obama and his former administration members. It just makes me sad for losing what we had…

“I was very fortunate to be on a team of people that hung close together.”

The problem with Chiselin’ Trump and his team is that they are not well-hung.

“I was very fortunate to be on a team of people that hung close together,” he added.

“I also had a boss who wasn’t a mentally ill congenital liar. That helped.”

Why did he take the lousy job. Even if he receives the maximum salary it is not enough to play Court Jester to the SCROTUS.

The Importance of Being Earnest. I like this guy.

I know–Who ever heard of such a thing?

“He works for somebody who is famously thin-skinned and somebody who has demonstrated over and over again that he doesn’t care that much about telling the truth,”

Bless you for pointing out the reality of Donald Trump.

Pointing out this reality will probably get Josh Earnest labeled by Chris Cilliza, Mark Halpern, the entire crew from Politico that migrated to the @NYtimes as “sour grapes”.
