if the GOP can convince people that lowering taxes raises revenue, they can convince people that a decrease in premiums actually means that prices increased.

They can claim they would have decreased more if not for Obamacare, or they will cherry pick the data and pick a few cases where someone’s prices went up.

Shameless liars don’t let facts get in the way of their message.

A big headline on the FOX web page a few weeks ago. “Insurance agencies ask for huge increase in rates.”

Of course what they don’t tell you is insurance companies routinely ask for increases every year, and the state insurance commissions routinely turn them down.

Without this information it looks like the ACA is in trouble, but it’s not. See what fun you can have by only telling half the story.

Yep, and I saw today that the DOW is well above 17,000. I thought to myself, “Well, if this won’t convince Boehner Obama needs to be impeached, I don’t know what will.”

Exactly, I can ask boyfriend to buy me a house and car but I’m damn sure not getting it.

But a friend of my friend’s uncle said his insurance went up
3,000%. That’s socialism or sumpthin’.

There are certain techniques

Republican reaction: “Obamacare premiums didn’t go down. The Affordable Care Act based on Romneycare premiums went down.”

For you Republicans who are not yet fluent in English, “decrease” is a good thing.

Very good news for Arkansans and Senator Pryor, but
it’s not “Obamacare”!!

And the power of confirmation bias among Republicans is not to be underestimated, no matter how obviously durpful the lie.

That sound you’re hearing is steam roaring out of the ears of angry Republicans.

Oh, don’t worry. I’m sure one of his sock puppets will show up eventually.
