Discussion: Obamacare-Hater Price Sounds All But Ready To Undermine The Law

“…their Republican colleagues, who effusively praised Price for securing the HHS post and gushed over having a real medical doctor running the department.”

Josef Mengele was a “real medical doctor” too.

While I don’t doubt that Price will do all he can to undermine the law, I wonder how much of this is just a ham-fisted attempt to get some Democrats to sign on to some kind of legislation.

Yes, he’ll do everything he can to undermine it … until he’s indicted for insider trading, stock manipulation, abuse of public office, etc.

Another day, another charlatan, sigh.

Obama should have walked around ACA with a diagram and noted all of the damage like they do with a rental car.

GOP: “No, really, I swear. That fender was smashed, that window was broken, there was a dead male hooker in the trunk, and the engine was smoking when I got it.”

Trump isn’t currently popular and any Democrat who goes into business with him, is asking for it.

I wonder if public outrage about not destroying ACA can unite GOP And Dems. I suspect it’s unlikely, but if anything can, this can.

Blood will be on his hands. I guess the Hippocratic oath no longer applied to him.

I do suspect governors (even Republican ones) won’t stand idle while Price and Trump talk publicly about letting (helping) Obamacare fall apart.

Did Price get his medical degree off the back of a matchbook cover by sending in five dollars?

Price and Chaffetz have voices that make Lindsey Graham sound like James Earl Jones. What is up with the high-octave GOP goons? It’s hard to sound tough when you sound way more like a mezzo soprano than you do Tony Soprano.

This is their plan. Trump said it would explode. This is how they make it happen. Then they’ll blame Obama/Dems when it does.

Be ready to push back on GOPers when they start complaining Obamacare isn’t working. Dems need to have immediate responses ready. In fact, they should be all over the airwaves saying this is how Trump plans on making it explode. This isn’t rocket science.

Right. Saying, “I can’t fix this,” means “I suck at my job.”

Price always looks so smug. It is almost as if he has a a life long dream of playing the biggest baddest villain in a movie.

Do citizens have any legal power to make the Executive actually “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed”?

You forgot to add “Insider Trader” before his name. But that’s okay.

It really is stunning how thoroughly the cabinet is staffed with wrecking balls. Is there anyone who is not put there to destroy whatever his/her department is mandated to protect?

(& @haggie, @jakebarnes) Yup. And I’ve been happy to see that Schumer and other Dems have already been talking about the Trump/GOP sabotage that’s already been implemented/threatened. Aside from the fact that most people tend to blame the president and his party for problems on their watch anyway, it looks like Dems plan to make sure everyone will know where the blame lies for any issues with the ACA from here on out – with the party that’s made no secret of their efforts to destroy it.

He must have sworn the Hypocritical Oath instead.
