Discussion for article #229207
He said that the shooting “emphasizes the degree to which we have to remain vigilant when it comes to dealing with these kinds of acts of senseless violence or terror.”
It’s too bad we can’t treat general gun violent in the USA the same way…
So, I think it’s increasingly looking like it was a single gunman (not a much larger group as some American outlets were reporting earlier today). And can I just point out something about this incident that speak to a success of Canadian law - how difficult it is to get your hands on an automatic weapon. If this incident had taken place in the US, the gunman (who was armed with a regular rifle) would have used an automatic weapon and a lot more people would be dead. But it’s hard as hell to get your hands on one of those in Canada. So we have one fatality and an injury. And the only reason the soldier is dead is that he was shot in a surprise attack.
Time for the GOP/Teatrolls to demand something Obama isn’t doing as though it’s a massive failure not to be doing it. Ridiculous RWNJ fabrications in 3…2…
Has to be brown people or people with foreign names to get their attention. Armed brown people scare the everloving piss out of the white people in this country. When it’s a white dude, they’ll tell you not to jump to conclusions and 'let’s see if he had a good reason for it first."
WHY ISN’T OBAMA DOING SOMETHING???
This is Obama’s Katrina
(I promise this time)
This is what 70% of the American people know, and if it weren’t for the loud-mouthed, idiot, gun-fellation minority, we’d have a handle on mass shootings here. Next time you see one, tell the addle-pated lout to shut the hell up.
