Trump is like mentally handicapped persons that have great aptitude with a particular skill. His skill is as a super salesman, selling his name to and bankrupting clients. In all other areas he is an ignoramus. Scary thought for me.

To your first statement Chammy-- that-- is abundantly clear.
To the second? I say that as time passes and he’s less-encumbered by the formality and restraints of office-- he’ll be more at ease with himself-- and to the audience of the world. His true self will be the one that becomes ingrained as public persona.
And further? Take heart-- in as time passes-- his POTUS legacy will be acknowledged as one for the ages.
And the number of enlightened beneficiaries will grow as well.
I honestly feel there was no other individual better suited for the tasks of the last eight years-- than he.
And I have every confidence in his ability to steady the tiller-- in the run-up to November.

After Obama takes as long as he wants to just shake off the mud of the last eight years, relax, have fun, and maybe focus on work that’s important to him personally, I hope he finds a new public role, like Carter has done all these years. He’s got a lot to offer and this society needs all the help and adult guidance it can get.
