Discussion: Obama: Trump ‘Doesn’t Know Much’ About Nuclear Policy, The World

"…Republican presidential candidate someone who “doesn’t know much about foreign policy or nuclear policy or the Korean Peninsula or the world generally.”

Isn’t that all of them?

I’m loving our President, wishing to be able to have a third term!

GOP: We want to be in business of selling Nuclear Technology to other countries. It helps our economy in longer term. We/Reagan created Osama Bin Laden/Saddam Hussein and it worked out just fine for us. ISIS is our latest creation.

Thank you very much President Obama in speaking the truth and letting it be known how inept Trump will be if he were elected POTUS.

I do love me some BHO.

But Pres? You gotta’ admit that this particular bit of info
won’t be seen as a wakeup call to the Idiocracy-set of sycophants
that feed the ego-monster that is Trump-the-Candidate.

But as always-- I appreciate your effort Mr President!

Doesn’t Trump have any advisors? Geez, the stuff coming out of his mouth lately is beyond ridiculous.

Trump in his capacity as a twit will respond with a twitter. Gawd, what a light weight.

Didn’t Rump say something to the effect that he listens to his own counsel? Who needs advisors when he can listen to the voices in his head??

Allow me to quote him on where his foreign policy guidance comes from: “I’m speaking with myself, number one, because I have a very good brain and I’ve said a lot of things."

Considering the state of media, would the President’s event have even been covered by the mainstream networks yesterday without Trump’s moronic remarks?

Let’s see. It took him 3 hours to backtrack on putting women in jail for having abortions, because “convoluted”. The flight time for a Minuteman III is like 25-30 minutes. Should the fate of the world be resting on a “faulty earpiece”?

Thank you, Mr. President. Mr. Trump is becoming a national security liability, so you had no choice but to voice what Americans and people all over the world are thinking.

Usually Presidents don’t have to respond to suggestions that we heighten tensions with nuclear-armed rogue dictatorships to the breaking point by encouraging regional proliferation. Sane people who know a goddamn thing about what they’re talking about don’t make suggestions like that. So this is pretty unusual. It’s like if Trump urged compulsory smoking for every man, woman and child in the country and the President had to come out and say he didn’t know much about health and so forth.

You’re likely referring to the GOP, but among all candidates, HRC wins hands down. The campaign should push this angle heavily.

Miss Kirkland, while President Obama is justifiably concerned about Trump’s ignorance, he isn’t unnerved by it. George W.'s reaction to being told about the 9/11 attacks is an example of someone becoming unnerved.

What a call-out. Go, Mr. President!

I love my President. I think I am in a bit of a depressed state these days knowing the days and months are flying by in his term. How lucky we and this country have been (and the world) to have been blessed by having him represent us.

Is it possible this is Drumpf’s unofficial theme song??

I’ve always loved this song…
