The best way to deal with conservatives is to mock them. Laugh at their silly slogans and policy proposals. Nothing pisses them off more. Remind them that we have tried their foreign policy prescriptions and economic solutions, and then laugh at them some more.
Me, I throw 9/11 in their face ALL THE TIME. You think conservatives would have given Democrats a pass if 9/11 happened under Gore?

Republicans are all about slogans. They’re no longer a political party, they’re a marketing firm who makes lots and lots of money by marketing the outrage du jour to people too lazy to consider view points different from what the marketing firm sells them.

The major problem lies in taking Republican propagandists at their word, and not referring to the actual statements made by the President. These people are liars, fabulists and will say ANYTHING to prove that Mr. Obama does not belong in the Oval Office. Republicans are going all out to portray Dems as weak on terrorism sensing that it may be their only way of winning the White House. But as they have no solutions for these problems and are mostly responsible for the creation of Isis, all they have left are outrageous talking points. Their “strategy” is hoping that the American public has forgotten about the GW/Cheney administration.

By saying that we need to be tougher on ISIS, what they are really saying without realizing it is that the billions of dollars we are giving to the military and the thousands of intelligence agents actively working are just jerking off and wasting time, money, and lives. Those people just aren’t doing enough and Obama needs to tell them to work harder.
Those thousands of bombing raids? Because Obama isn’t serious about ISIS, those pilots are being sloppy with their bombs. Those gunners probably take naps at night instead of using their multi-million dollar night vision gunnery systems to take out suspected ISIS camps. Those egg-head generals are probably playing golf instead of thinking how to contain ISIS. But damn Obama just doesn’t care enough to tell them to get to work!
