The gop has voted to repeal the aca repeatedly. How can it not know what a repeal bill looks like?

It should go away. Let all those morons who voted for the party to repeal it, suffer as they should. Kentucky etc need to learn and nothing like pain and suffering caused by their own actions.

Hopefully he’ll be handing out spines as well.

No. I get the anger over their votes but spiting them does no one any good.

I’m sure I’m missing something obvious about Obama’s Twelve Dimentional chess, but doesn’t it seem just a tad late to start strategizibg about how to save Obamacare?

On the other hand, it seems of apiece with Obama’s other (non) actions in the critical and disasterous 2016. First, he finds himself unable or unwilling to exert control over the FBI. Then he decides that his vaunted position as a nonpartisan president (gads!) prevents him from going to the Anerican people in October with a speech spilling the beans on Putin and Trump, thus denying the American people the information they should have had before voting. And finally, he cedes American policy on the Middle East to those great democracies, Venezuela and Malaysia, abandoning the most loyal non-African American constituency he has ever had, while losing even Great Britain and making Donald Trump a hero.

Really a great way to go out of office Mr President. Congrats.

They’ll suffer, but most likely learn nothing.

It’s like punishing a dog today for something he did yesterday. The dog can’t connect the dots and figure out that bad things are happening now for something that the dog did yesterday.

Had someone taken away each Trump voter’s health insurance card within 15 seconds of leaving the voting booth, perhaps they would have learned something.

No real consensus on a choice and they thought that they were going to be the opposition going into '17.

I’m almost to the point where i am looking forward to the GOP killing off Obamacare. My sole motivation for this position is to punish those white racist hillbillies who voted to this piece of shit. I know that the end of Obamacare will hurt lots of good folks who didn’t vote for the pussy grabber but action must have consequences. Collateral damage can’t be avoided.

I hope the party keeps an eye on what people like Joe Manchin, Claire McCaskill, Heidi Heitkamp, and the rest of their right wing leaning buds do and dole out campaign support based on whether they felt it was more important to harm people or protect them.

I disagree. They will learn nothing, ever. These are the same folks who voted overwhelmingly in 2010 with same guys who destroyed them/us. The only way they will learn is when they suffer for prolonged period (as in generations) or just disappear.

Death by popcorn poisoning!

How could they not know?

Absolutely–

The Chicago Jewish community was - and has been - Obama’s most important and loyal constituency, bar none, from the very earliest days of his Chicago political career. Newt Minnow, Ab Mikva, the Pritzger family, just to name a few. Over seventy percent of Jews voted for Obama nationwide in 2008 and 2012. No other community, other than African Americans, came equaled those numbers.

Re Great Britain, look up PM May’s unprecedented excoriation today of US Middle East policy, calling Kerey’s speech uncalled for and damaging.

Re Donald Trump, according to exit and other Jewish community polling, 75-80% of Jews voted against Trump, but I can assure you that all but a fraction were so appalled by the UN veto and Kerry’s speech that they actually appreciated Trump’s comments. This, despite the fact that probably a majority of American Jews oppose the buikding of settlements beyond the green line. OK, so Trump isn’t a hero-- but Obama and Kerry really bkew it with this community.

You woukdn’t know it if you get your information from TPM or Daiky Kos. But the views here do not reflect the views of the overwhelming number of Jews.

Do you really think the Democrats can afford to narrow their base even more?

You said betrayal…please explain that…

Someone help me out here, but the embassy is going to Jerusalem in '17, right?

Mrs. May does “not believe that it is appropriate to attack the composition of the democratically elected government of an ally,” a spokesman for the prime minister said, using the department’s customary anonymity. “The government believes that negotiations will only succeed when they are conducted between the two parties, supported by the international community.”

The British government voted in favor of the Security Council resolution because Britain, like other European members of the Council, has long considered the settlements beyond 1967 lines to be illegal.

Oh I agree…

That’s why I thank the seven deities daily for keeping my ‘Google Fu’ strong.

Also is it normal for one country to suggest that sponsoring a resolution is the equivalent to a declaration of war?
