Where the heck were speeches like that over the past 12 months? About time!

Way to grow a pair, Obama!!!

The American people didn’t reject Obama’s agenda. The Democrats didn’t run a single race promoting Obama’s agenda. If they had, the result would have been far different.

Listening to the GOP stooge on MSNBC, it is quite clear he had his talking points way ahead of time and did not listen very much to what the President said. His "argument’ that what the President will do is far beyond what Bush or Reagan’s executive actions did with regards to Presidential powers was absolutely pathetic. That said, it is clearly that this is the meme and phrasing that all the GOPers will use between now and their invited appearances on the Sunday talk shows. Where of course they will not be challenged.

Continue to force Republicants to oppose things and deny reality. Obamacare, immigration executive orders, climate change, etc.

Boner it is time to pass a bill or be left in Obamas dust.

Let the exploding Republican heads commence. The President has called them out and they are going to go all in on the crazy. Boehner and McConnell better watch their backs, the base is out for blood. Way to go, President Obama.

The relevant question is where have you been the last 12 months?

I wish I could say your assessment is wrong, but I fear it is spot on.

“The president’s proposed actions today are lawless, unconstitutional, and are a direct insult to the American people,”

Wrong on all counts. Your statement is a trifecta of stupidity Scalise.

Well done.

We’ve been waiting for Boehner to act for a year and a half. he won’t let the Senates bill be debated or voted on This has been coming to a head for all that time. Boehner has asked for this fight and as far as I can detect has brought a wet noodle to Obama’s A1 Abrams tank. The GOP hates Hispanics (see the Kobach article) and Rush Limbaugh says the GOP wasn’t elected to govern, just to oppose Obama at every turn. Those two points do not comprise a winning strategy.

“No, we can’t, because now our fee-fees are hurted. Why’d you go and hurt our fee-fees, Nobama?”

Dear Republicans:

How does that taste? Enjoy.

Heh, heh. Looking forward to “Tempest in a Tea Party Pot” for the next couple of years. That should keep the Republicans busy.

Evermore 11-dimensional chess from POTUS.

Word! This is one of the president’s better and more impassioned speeches I’ve ever heard, and that’s saying a tremendous amount. He believes in this. He believes in our immigrant brothers and sisters and it came through so crystal clear Windex wouldn’t have made it any clearer.

I saw a fight and fury in our president that I haven’t seen in awhile. Which makes sense since he was largely sidelined during the election. I am so immensely proud. This is my Big N, this is the dude I so ridiculously proudly voted for.
