Has anybody told Congress about Pakistan?
āWe should give our negotiators the best chance of success, rather than complicating their efforts.ā
In addition to its being irretrievably corrupt, the ruling party in congress is comprised of consummate meddlers!
I remember catching sight of a sign at my auto repair shop that one of the mechanics had pinned to the wall.

I am loving the Obama 2.0!
Introduced by Bob Corker, Robert Menendez, Lindsey Graham and Tim Kaine. Co-sponsored by John McCain, Joe Donnelly, Marco Rubio, Heidi Heitkamp, Kelly Ayotte, Bill Nelson, Jim Risch, and Angus King.
And Iām sure Mark Kirk, hater of bullshit, will be voting for it enthusiastically.
Come on, really, would any one let Congress even microwave a bowl of instant oatmeal?
Iām not surprised by any of the names on the list.
And of course the Republicans can hop from camera touting that this is a ābipartisanā bill (bolstering claims of how reasonable it is) and the āliberalā media will then ask why the president refuses to work with this Congress.
Same games, different day
I think the conservatives and corporate religion have already done the microwaving, Congress seems to think like a bowl of instant oatmeal already.
āKill the Messengerā makes a great movie for a snowy dayā¦Old clip of Tweety in action shows the Village acting on orders just like he does today. In the scene where Richard Zuckerman sends word to unnamed people āupstairsā, the āpeopleā are Kay Graham and Ben Bradlee
Of all the things Iām looking forward to next year, watching Kelly Ayotte and Marco Rubioās concession speeches are the things I most want to see. Theyāre two horrible morons who have no business in the Senate.
Keep that veto pen handy, President Obama!
Overreach, lawlessness, imperial presidency, Muslim from Kenya. Have I missed anything?
Socialist, Wall Street-loving dictator?
Yarmouth of KY today nailed it: the reason for Bibiās visit, and this babbling by pro-war Congressmen and women is to spread a stink over any Iran deal that is made BEFORE it even happens, so that the damage to it vis a vis the US electorate will be done and dusted.
They did try that with Obamacare, and put such a stench over it that even today, people who got it and loved it still say that they hate āObamacare.ā
I watched the 1975 documentary on how the right wing tried bringing down Allende before resorting to murderous force, and believe me, the tactics of the GOP and Tea Party are eerily familiar.
- try to muddy the waters on all issues;
- attack Cabinet appointees and get them ousted by āinvestigationsā by the congress (one guy looked just like Darrell Issa) and rig the courts to back them up when they indict
- go to great lengths to harm the Chilean economy by promoting āstrikesā by company unions, so that the copper industry, which was Chileās mainstay, would falter and all would then blame the President. (Almost half the copper works refused to stop working, and with only half staff they equalled the output!)
This led to the full blown fascism (openly proclaimed by the right) that then put Pinochet in and led to his brutal, brutal regime (backed by Kissinger and the CIA(,
Surrender monkey, apology tour, reset button ā¦
You might be disappointed concerning Rubioās concession speech. There are hints popping up that he wonāt be running and instead will focus all of energy on running for VPā¦err, I mean President.
Stand aside, boy! The bubbasāll take it from here!
Pound sand Congress.
Gay. You forgot to mention he is a closet gay as well.
Commie pinko elitist intellectual uppity non-European man.
