I really do hope that Hillary can honor and continue Obama’s legacy as the only grownup in the whole circus.
It appears Obama’s way of dealing with a protester is slightly different from HOTOG’s. Sure, it may be hard to discern but, believe me, it’s different.
President Obama. A truly class act.
Much appreciated, sir…
Could you imagine Trump ever saying something like what Obama just said?
No? Me neither.
Well, given Drumpf’s criminal past, I could see him saying “this is a hold up”…
I’m sure all the democrats in the crowd were fully ready to stomp an elderly veteran if Obama had just given the word, and a promise of paid legal bills /s
Trump would have had the guy thrown out. Then he would have talked about how our military vets are soft and weak (sad!)
Then he’d have sued the guy and molested his daughter.
All part of making America great again, dontchaknow.
Sanity, so rare it made headlines.
Trump: What a P***y Obama is. I would have killed that protestor or rather have someone else take care of him. My rallies are real Amerikan.
LOL. Now that you mention it…but seriously the way he finally got control was something to see. His self-respect, his respect for the audience’s better selves, his good-dad emotional I.Q., all of that. Tell you, Trump would be going the President Camacho route of attention-getting if this damn campaign lasted a few weeks longer.
Truly a battle of Light against Darkness.
“Make America Great Again”…for Trump.
A man of true grace, intelligence and class. I fear we will not see the likes of Obama again for generations.
President Obama has truly been a class act for the past 8+ years. He has been a model to emulate. Too bad Trump and his gang missed that life lesson.
For a couple minutes, Obama attempted in vain to gain back control of the crowd as chants of "Hillary!" drowned out the protestor.
Music to my ears. Stick that up your enthusiasm gap and spin.
Word!!!
To go from Obama to Trump would be the largest change in the Presidency in its history.

Speaking of enthusiasm, there’s something I’ve consistently seen at Hillary’s own rallies and that’s her hugely increased ability to connect with the audience. I think opposing Trump has given her a strength and emotional charge you never saw when she was opposing Obama, maybe just speculatin’ because she wasn’t then fighting for the soul and destiny of the society. At any rate, like she has all her life, she’s learned and improved. James Fallows has noticed the same thing and as a brilliant observer and former Presidential speechwriter his opinion is not entirely dismissible.
Still on message 8 years later.
