Just a distraction from Benghazi and IRS-gate

I certainly hope he sets aside some time to address that horrible ray Rice situation.

Or maybe the failed Obamacare.

Don’t worry, if the media is given a chance to ask questions the questions will be dominated with Ray Rice.

I suspect that Barack Obama is going to make a case that relies heavily on the details of the situation on the ground in eastern Syria and western Iraq, as opposed to his ideological stance on American military power in the abstract, thus infuriating both the right and far left.

Thanks to you third party idiots, we had eight years of George W. Bush. And looks like you’re opining for a third Bush term if Jeb runs and you guys decide to pull the “both parties are crap” BS with Mrs. Clinton.

I expect to see more and more of this in the run up to the midterms. It’s a desperate attempt to try to demoralize Democratic voters, an effort to get Democratic voters to stay home. The truth is that Obama’s poll numbers are slowly creeping up. A few weeks ago he was more than 10 points underwater, but now he’s slowly creeping up to the mid-40s. Depending on the action he takes in regards to ISIS, he could be looking at being around 50% on election day.
Regardless of the president’s poll numbers, no liberal or progressive should be even considering staying home on Election Day. Staying home is like voting FOR a Republican. Don’t do that to your country or yourself.

Your concern trolling fools no one. Case in point? When, on another thread, you refer to the “Democrat (sic) Party.”

“Neither party is going to anything about global warming! Both the Democrat and Republican parties are beholden to Wall Street and evil corporations. If Progressives want to get anything done to stop the rape of our Earth, we need to protest the big money parties. If we don’t vote in this next elec…”

That goes for the negative poll pushed by NBC earlier this week showing Grimes faltering behind McConnell. How are things looking in that race from your standpoint?

Not great. She seems to be slipping down to about 4 points behind McConnell when she was running either ahead or tied. Her commercials are good, some of them are really great but I think she’s getting pummeled by McConnell’s money. For instance, I have a Mahjong game app on my phone. Nearly everyday there’s a McConnell add on the app, and I see a negative ad from him seemingly once an hour. We’ll see…

But if Chuck Todd isn’t actually paying attention when the President addresses ISIS and Syria, does it really even matter?

Translation: GOOOOOOO Chris Christie!!!

If we want to build the party, which I totally support, we need to start from the ground up. Steal a page from the teabagger playbook. Turning the executive over to the fascists won’t solve anything.

Most unpopular president in history? Let’s fact check!

Source: http://www.ropercenter.uconn.edu/data_access/data/presidential_approval.html

President Highest Rating Lowest Rating
Obama 76% 39%

Bush (G.W.) 92 19

Clinton 73 36

Bush (G.H.W.) 89 29

Reagan 68 35

Carter 75 28

Ford 74 37

Nixon 67 23

Johnson 80 35

Apparently, history doesn’t include the last eight presidents.
