It’s really very simple.
Use the Strom Thurmond method.
Make Yertle and his cronies talk for 24/36/48 hours (or whatever time they feel is necessary).
Because of the poison of FOX news and Talk Radio, some additional things should be added as well. Yertle (or someone equivalent) should be broadcast on the following networks
(a) One of the main carriers (ABC, NBC, etc)
(b) C-SPAN

(d) a designated cable channel
Break, occasionally to explain what Yertle is trying to accomplish, and sometimes with a mild history lesson on the Filibuster.
Also stress the unprecedented amounts of filibisters by Yertle and Crew.

The Senate must change “how a filibuster works,” President Barack Obama told donors Wednesday evening at a fundraiser for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in New York.
Why? Based on the record amounts of Republican obstruction in the past five years, it appears that the filibuster works just fine.
Reid will just screw around until he gets a Republican Senate elected thru lack of action.
