Itâs a straight line, and itâs not even a long line. Palin was when GOP voters really first started to embrace anti-intellectualism and shun any kind of expertise and treat it like a liability. Trump is just a more pure distillation of Palin.
Peronâs Latest Flame in Evita was prescient about the rise of The Whore of Babble On:
We have completely lost our grip
We have allowed ourselves to slip
We have declined to an all time low
Tarts have become the set to know
The republicans will never admit what Obama said is trueâŚuntil they are out of politics. Also they will never apologize to the American people.
Also sprach President Obama:
âThere have been at least a couple of other times that Iâve said confidently that the fever is going to have to break, but it just seems to get worse.â
Dear Mr. President,
Sometimes fevers kill the patient.

I have always thought that listening to Donald Trump was like listening to Sarah Palin - only he has smaller hands.
He just has better presentation then her.
When you actually read what he says you see the same word salad.
I think he also had impure thoughts about her as well. And maybe even unnatural acts too.
Wrong! The straight line of incoherence and anti-intellectualism began with Bush.
Trump: Sarahâs really great, just really great, but sheâs not a 10. Not a 10, folks, so I donât know what the âpresidentâ is talking about. Iâd have nothing to do with her. I mean Iâm successful exactly so I donât have to spend time with women like Sarah. If she and I were a thing, do you think I could sell the nude photos for more than $5,000? Not a chance, believe me.
Did anyone see Alec Baldwinâs impression of Trump? I know the Trump impression has been done to death, but this was on another level. It was so perfect. Just see for yourselvesâŚ
NBC removed it from youtube, so itâs on this link. Just scroll down a bit, and youâll see it.
Great, now we have a day of Word Salad Argle-Bargle Tweet storms in stereo to look forward to. Neither one of these narcissists can let a sleight go unanswered.
Brilliant, true and humiliating for Donald, to be shown following in the footsteps of a woman.
Trumpâs thumbs are going to go crazy again soon.
Much longer line than that. The mantra âpointy-headed intellectualâ was a pretty common phrase and ideology even among those not supporting Wallace (at least thatâs my recollection).
I wouldnât let hate radio and Fox News off the hook either, I think they both play a very big role in the r/w takeover of the GOP.
If Congress did nothing but oppose every Democratic policy it would be bad enough for the idiots who elect them. Congress also manages to give away our Treasury and inflict suffering on the whole world.
Thanks again, John McStain.
I think of Palin strictly as McCain try to pull in women voters. Donât know if he knew she was that stupid, but I canât believe if he did heâd have chosen her.
I think of Trump more as just the natural progression of the Republican agenda as far as how and who they appeal to.
"Righteousness is a wide path. Self-righteousness is a bullhorn and a blind fold."
I envision him being wrestled to the ground, with people climbing over him to get his phone away from him. And then, one person gets a hold of it, and then a âgive me back my phone, or youâre fired!â back and forth ensues. Similar to when a person takes a drunk friendâs keys away, and they demand to have them back.
