Discussion: Obama: ‘Reckless’ For Congress To Repeal ACA Without Replacement Ready

A number of Republican lawmakers have made the same case this week, warning their colleagues that they must roll out repeal and a comprehensive replacement plan simultaneously or risk jeopardizing the health care of millions.

To which their colleagues replied, “So what?”

Democrats ‘on message’. Good to see. Hostile adjectives are powerful. And if the burden is on the other team, lay it on.

Shhhhh…hey GOP! Buck up! Can’t make an omelette without cracking a few eggs!

Repeal is a loser –

– 3,000,000 jobs will be lost
– One trillion dollars will be lost
– 20,000,000 people will lose their coverage
– Everyone will lose vital protections - concerning pre-existing conditions and lifetime insurance caps

They don’t give a fuck
Why should they
Their health care is guaranteed even if the rest of us are out in the cold.
Even if their subsidies ended
So what ?
We’re all Millionaires and Billionaires.
We can afford any health care , its just nice that you rubes pay for it .

Now that the mean, awful black man has chided them AGAIN to be responsible, the GOP will go on a meth-fueled binge out of spite.

The Republicans’ plan is what we had before Obamacare:

Insurance rates increasing at a steeper rate than they are now under Obamacare. The uninsured waiting until they were half-dead before presenting to emergency rooms for hospital stays, with costs that were tacked onto the bills of those lucky enough to have insurance. Big Pharma, Big Hospitals and Big Insurance getting their way on everything. Higher costs with worse outcomes compared to the rest of the world. People going bankrupt after a single major illness. People with even minor pre-existing conditions unable to qualify for insurance.

Yeah, that’s the Republican plan. It’s what we had before Obamacare.

The rethugs can’t come up with a replacement because Obamacare is the rethug plan - just ask the AEI and Mittens. This is the private enterprise plan they insisted on then provided not one vote for.
When are their friends and financiers in the insurance and health care industries going to call them into account and tell them to shut the fuck up.

I hope he continues to egg them on about this (hey Dems, consider making an ad that, oh, never mind…) and keep them for owning their killing off of health care for people.

Indeed! Fairly soon, the grace and dignity of the Office of President will depart when Obama leaves.

As much of a lunatic as he was revealed to be, Alan Grayson summed it up perfectly:

Remember, the Republican plan: “Don’t get sick. And if you do get sick, die quickly.”

Thanks, Trump voters, you’ve screwed the entire country over.

Sadly it’s going to take Rs screwing over a lot of folks before enough of a majority to vote them out of office and some of the screwed will still vote for them until they are dead from their actions or lack thereof…

Thanks for that. Used to do the university touring thing with a group of poets (centuries ago). Have time again now and as I’m running out of road I’m trying to organize it all for publication. Discipline (finishing stuff) has always been the writer’s worst enemy.
