President Obama… no words that aptly describe how inspiring this wonderful man is! What a great moment perfectly delivered at a time when everyone needs one!
That was an excellent speech, and a big contrast to what the Republicans are offering. It’s what I though the Democrats should do, aim to be inclusive to all Americans (yes, even the conservative nut jobs), instead of being divisive like the Republicans. They are trying to use fear to get people to vote for them…fear of terrorism, fear of change, fear that the world is not revolving around them. The best way to combat that is to talk about America being one family…we might fight about things, but we’re still all part of this nation, and we have to figure out how to go forward together.
That message will never sway the worst elements of our nation, but it should sway everyone who wants this nation to be better for our descendants. Fear will never make things better, only hope will. It’s a powerful message, hopefully it resonates the way it should so Hillary beats Trump.
Really substantive and, I suspect, really effective speech. What a thinker this guy is. What a president.

This was a truly excellent speech, I’ve watched it twice already. The man is a fantastic orator.

I’m glad that we are among those who can appreciate him in real time, and can speak from experience in 40 years to those who can only read about his greatness in the history books.
Looking forward to Clinton/Kaine hitting PA and the midwest post-convention. I think they are ideally suited to earn votes there.
Four years ago Bill Clinton gave the most compelling argument of all the Convention speakers for reelecting Barack Obama. This Convention Pres. Obama paid the Clintons back with interest!
Barack makes me more proud to be an American than any president in my 72 years. Only Martin Luther King, Myanmar’s Aung San Suu Kyi, Nelson Mandela and Gough Whitlam, Australia’s Prime Minister in the Seventies, are in the same league as our glorious President Obama.
Not only Obama himself. Michelle DELIVERED as well. As did Biden.
