You know who I worry about and think probably has the same mania as Robin Williams,Craig Ferguson. The guy is hilarious
when he is on ,but watching him I often find myself thinking, man the downside of this must be extremely difficult to deal with.
Cue conservatives saying Obama condones suicide and drug abuse in 3… 2…
I have already read one comment about Obama caring more about Robin Williams passing than about the things that really matter.

It’s just the beginning. It won’t be long before this will be a CIA black op to distract the public from Benghazi, the IRS, Fast and Furious, and the blowing up of the USS Maine in Havana Harbor (which I understand from Republican hate radio was also Obama’s fault).
The America of celebrity and money doesn’t seem to provide much comfort inside those jillion dollar waterfront homes…

Except I doubt many listeners to republican hate radio have a clue as to what the USS Maine was. I mean the name Rough Riders sounds tough and all…but Teddy has that commie last name…Roosevelt, so it can’t be good.

Mr. Williams was a talent, his passing sad…
thanks for that one. part of robin williams’ gift, that extra dimension that almost no other comedian of the last 40 years had, was his ability to be silly and laugh at himself, having the confidence to know that he didn’t have to strut every single moment-that he would still be cool after. conan o’brien has that a little-other than that i can’t think of anybody.
I’m very sad at William’s passing. But I’m nonplussed by our need to have the US President weigh in on the death of every cultural figure, as if he were our national mourner in chief.
I would normally agree, but think this is some of Obama’s ‘choomer’ teenhood memories, like mine, that made Williams’ comedy so damn interesting and funny. Same kinda memories I have a Richard Pryor…when you used to watch the comedy ‘album’ spin round and round…
Oh, no, I think he was sincere, and there was a recent presidential ‘eulogy’- can’t remember which of whom at the moment- that I thought was quite touching and clearly written, or at least dictated, by Obama himself. It’s just the public’s and/or the media’s expectation that the WH should comment that strikes me as odd.

I am sorry if you thought a poem that is a eferencee to one of Williams’ films is strange. And I am equally sorry you thought my comment was aggressive because it wan’t meant that way. I just didn’t see the point of it.
NP…I wasn’t a big fan, I associate the poem with Lincoln and didn’t get your reference. Sorry. Very sad…
