Along with all the really big issues he and the country have won on recently, there’s also Cuba and the return to more normal relations with it. It’s off the terrorism watch list, big business is itching to set up shops down there (though Airbnb is doing very well with tourists), people are coming in from this country with some ease, but it’s up to the do-nothing Congress to lift the trade embargo.

The whole press conference is pretty good too, I’m glad to see our deepening ties with Brazil are real, despite the spying kerfuffle.

A good week that is part of a great year, a surging economy and a fantastic Presidential run.
He’s the best half black President ever, that’s a given but not really appreciated as much as it should be. Then, he’s just been a pretty awesome President at exactly the right time in history which is yet another thing that he doesn’t get credit for, YET.
Obama took on the woes of the world, not just the US and he has slowly, meticulously and with a caring hand, massaged the world back into a manageable, profitable, partnership that has a promising future.
Persistence, it still pays dividends. Thank you Barack Obama!
