Discussion for article #229854
Ugh…he brought the Neville Chamberlain speech.
You can kiss 2016 goodbye for the Dems if you sign even a single piece of poisoned, Teatroll wishlist legislation just to say “compromise.” I’m not talking about actual compromises like chained-CPI…but I’m not expecting that the GOP/Teatrolls are going to serve up anything that reasonable.
Yep…and now we’ll spend the next 2 years watching it spew meconium everywhere.
RePUBLicans Are SMARter THAN LIbtards. we WOn’t LEGISLAte, we’d be HArmed POLItically. ImpEACH OHbUMMer, PAck the COURts WITH exTREME coNSErvatIVEs, ANd have THEM legISLATE for US. GOsH LIBtards is DUMB!!!111!one!!1!!!1!!!
“I take them at their word that they want to produce” – Obama, on Boner & Yertle.
Peace In Our Time.
and as predictable as ever, jonathan karl informed obama that according to his aides, obama has only met twice with mcconnell in the six years he was minority leader… considering that mcconnell has refused to take obama’s telephone calls in the past, why in the hell should he offer to meet with mcconnell. apparently, mcconnell wasn’t available to take his call last nite either.
He had a Churchill speech as well but didn’t know how to deliver it.
I postulated that earlier today when they announced the press conference, asking which he would bring.
Guess we found out.
Obama, taking responsibility, OK as ever the adult in the room.
Now, set up the two year rope a dope veto threat, once the accolade fawning subsides.
Does anyone actually believe that Cruz will NOT be managing the house Teahaddists still and yet?
Gridlock will look much better with McConnell as it’s point man for the 2016 run up.
“…There are 34 Senators up for election…Among the senators up for election in 2016, there are 10 Democrats and 24 Republicans.”

pfft, like the “media” will ever stop fawning over the Republicans.
And of those 24, the GOP are defending Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Arizona and Missouri…all of which have been shown in recent history to be winnable or at least in serious play by the right Democratic candidate.
Hell for that matter, both Dakotas are up…and Tim Johnson and Heidi Heitkamp are proof that they’re not Blue-Proof.
And the only two that the Democrats are defending that should be in ANY peril are Nevada (Reid, only if Sandoval runs) and Colorado (Bennet).
They want to me to push hard to close some of these divisions, break through some of the gridlock and get some stuff done."
Uh-oh.
Neville Chamberlain Obama is staying true to form. Coming up next–he’ll sign off on the Ryan Budget and add in his Grand Bargain to gut Social Security as another appeasement of the GOP.
Middle-Man, strikes again…

Stole that from you earlier. Don’t be mad, I only steal good stuff.
The President will wave the red flag at the bull. He literally told the GOP if they don’t like what he does on immigration, they control both houses and can change it. That’s a shit show that should keep Republicans busy for a couple of years. What balls he has, this President of mine!!
