Discussion: Obama Meets With Dallas Nurse Cured Of Ebola

Discussion for article #229290

Glad she’s better. Wish Thomas Eric Duncan had survived. I think it’s very likely he would have had he been afforded the same level of care.

She contracted it because of shoddy practices at a private hospital in Texas and was cured at a public hospital in Maryland? That’s unpossible!

After what this brave soul has endured, I truly hope the right will find some compassion and abstain from attacking her for the unpatriotic act of meeting with the scary black president who is scary. Who am I kidding? They’ll say this proves she acted recklessly.

His chances would have been better if he were in a different state all together

Don’t forget Obama meeting with someone who formerly had Ebola! Can you even get rid of Ebola? I mean scientists don’t agree or some shit. What we need is Ebola colonies!!

I suspect they’ll make a bunch of jokes about it that none of us would find very amusing.

But what a cool message for him to send. Damn.

I hope the President manages to hug a few Republicans today…

Oh boy. Here come the RWNJs to tell us why this was totally irresponsible and showed no respect for the office of POTUS for him to be risking his health something something did we mention he’s black?

What a class act. I wouldn’t let her come within a mile of me if I could control it…

Duncan died because the hospital sent him home after he came in with a high fever, and the two nurses caught the disease from him because of shitty equipment. Same hospital. Privately owned failure IMO.

If she gives the President Ebola, the Secret Service is going to be pissed.

This would be an EXCELLENT time for the president to take on Chuck Todd and Mark Halperin by inviting Republicans to the WH.

Hey I missed a day of work last week cuz I wasn’t feeling well and I didn’t get to meet the president. This is bullshit

Glad she survived. And she looks healthier than I thought a person who had that disease would look when cured. Thank goodness with the proper and prompt care it is turning out to be a disease you can survive.

More good news maybe now Fox News will stop asking Prez Obama to come on their channel, now that he hugged the Ebola patient! Maybe they’ll be happy he “boycotted” them!

And this…ah-choo…is the Speaker of the House.

The right is hoping she’s contagious and that Obama will be infected.

And I’m not being hyperbolic.
