Probably his best SOTU, and he has had some great ones. Brilliant. Too bad we canāt repeal that Amendment about only getting two terms.

He did a great of dispelling the horrendous negative fog that the GOP (not to mention the NYT) has tried to cast over him. Imagine the NYT having its āexpertsā decide whether Obama was just a disappointment or a disaster!! The man has already made the whole world a better place.

Yet NPR and CBS (didnāt see NBC) panned his speech and attacked his motivation, claiming the speech was a nonstop attack on the republicans, as understand them.

As he said when the RWNJs said he wants to usurp the Constitution and run again for a third term, āYou have not met my wifeā.
And you know that is true, I just hope he gets out of the job alive.

In his apropos Presidential style, Barack was working for the Democratic Party in this speech. He knows better than anyone what this next election means and he also knows that his successor will have a huge impact, post partum, on his legacy.
Plus, I believe the guy loves his country and just like us, doesnāt want the wrecking crew getting another shot at tearing it all down.
The state of the union after the last eight years is awesome by comparison to where we were under dumbdumb Bush. The state of the state house is where we are hurting.
Barack can stand tall, taller really, because his record stands on itās own and the haters hating on that fact, doesnāt change it.

The biggest insult, as far as I could tell, was that Alito, Scalia, and Thomas didnāt appear to be there. What the hell is wrong with them?
Iām sure no Democratically appointed justice would ever do this, but I almost wish they would. Almost.
