Discussion: Obama: GOPers Worried About Trump Should Vote On My SCOTUS Nominee

Obama is so beyond these senate dunces. Heā€™s talking for the historical record now, knowing full well that the GOP is too dumb to do anything decent.

Zing! Iā€™ll miss him when he is no longer POTUS. No one can play political chess like Obama with such class, style and grace. Iā€™m so glad he has no more fucks to give and can enjoy the last year of his presidency finally, and with so many accomplishments. We didnā€™t get everything we wanted, like single payer, Gitmo closed and a few others, but we got a lot. Thanks Obama! Without a doubt one of the best presidents of the 20th & 21st centuries, if not ever.

Anyone read the lovely piece by Adam Gopnik (Cited by Nancy Le Tourneau at Washington Monthly) ?

"Adam Gopnik writes about President Obamaā€™s brand of liberalism.

His words have been varied, but his purpose has been
consistent and his point simple: liberalism isnā€™t centrism. It isnā€™t a
way of splitting the differences between two sides, and finding an
acceptable soft middle. Liberalism of the kind he practices, the
President has been saying, is the most truly radical of ideologies,
inasmuch as it proposes a change, makes it happen, and then makes it
last.

Itā€™s great fun to watch Obama play these bozos like a banjo, and get so much obvious pleasure out of it.
Enjoy every second, Mr. President. You earned it!

All the First Lady has to even whisper is ā€œPresident Trumpā€ and the President starts gigglingā€¦

Again, I simply donā€™t see a parallel of this man in US politics today - and its because like all great men, heā€™s learned from every failure. Heā€™s better now than heā€™s ever been - heā€™s the best argument against term limits in an election season where all you can do is thank the heavens for term limits. Its an interesting dichotomy.

ā€œThis fall, we will ask the American people, ā€˜Do you want four more years of knowledge, or do you want something else?ā€™ ā€ Priebus said. ā€œBecause the Republican Party has something else.ā€

@valgalky23 On Joy Reidā€™s new program she used a word to describe the president we havenā€™t heard much lately: urbane.

What this tells me about the reticent members of the GOP?

They arenā€™t all that concerned about Trump. There is no panic now; there wonā€™t be any later. They are all secretly planning the demise of the nation so it can be re-made in their image.

We the people will make sure that dream stays a dream.

Who better to pick the replacement for a whack job like Scalia than a whack job like Trump?

The word fits; heā€™s worldly, cultured, well-spoken, comfortable with books and ideasā€¦

And heā€™s pals with Steph Curry, unanimous winner of this yearā€™s NBA MVP award, and for that alone he wins points in the SF Bay Area. Go Warriors!

Now that right there is some serious-ass trolling. Such a shame that itā€™s wasted on its targets. Which is not to take anything away from the President, Itā€™s just that theyā€™re too ideologically blinded by their racist opposition to any proposal from Obama, or maybe theyā€™re just dumb-fuck stupid. Pick one or both.

Itā€™s one thing to vote against a nominee. Quite another to not even acknowledge that a person is a nominee much less hold an up or down vote. Right Senator McConnell? I remember your comments the day Garlandā€™s name was announced, Mr McConnellā€¦I remember. I remember how your word dripped with obvious hate and racial animosity toward Obama. How dare a black man let alone a democrat nominate anyone to the Court. Suddenly the logic was a President cannot nominate anyone in their last year in office. This is a very bad precedent Mr McConnell and itā€™ll come back to bite you in your ample ass. Then you said "no interviews or even courtesy meetings for this Judge with GOPersā€¦ But the feeling in the country is very positive toward garland and you, Mr McConnell are finding yourself painted into a smaller and smaller corner. And you arenā€™t Trump so you canā€™t just bullshit your way out of this like he does.

Just goes to show how much the GOP even give a shit about America. Democracy means nothing to these ass wipes.
They have every right to worry about the donald after all they made him possible just like the teatard party and we all know how that worked out.
The problem is that Gop leaders donā€™t have the balls to tell the diva to fuck off. Donā€™t worry Hillary will have no problem
putting the diva in his place and the GOP will be a blast of the past.

Obama be deh Trolli-a-dor-ista in chief.

10000000 :point_right: :+1:  :muscle: :muscle:  :+1: :point_left: for great trolling!

"Grassleyā€¦trusted Donald Trump to pick ā€œthe right type of people.ā€

Will he trust Hillary or Bernie with a Democratic Senate Majority? Man, the dice these weasels are willing to throw.

Ha ha ha, even if obama nominated the Jesus Christ the republican believe in (not the real one that is nothing like what republicans believe, I know they crucify him!) theyā€™d stall because Obama nominated him.
