Thank you, Mr. President! Such an important goal for our young people and, if successful, one that can and will change the direction of our country.
Happy to see that you’ve chosen something other than painting bathtub vignettes for your post-presidency.
Lol. Good one. And still no sign of Darcy. Was he banned again or shamed
Incapable of shame.
This is good…civic engagement.
But let’s also focus even more on civic literacy.
You truly have to love Obama…he insists we PARTICIPATE in our democracy! Go figure!
I’m not at all surprised by this. President Obama has always been about encouraging people to engage in civics and being involved with your community.
A good choice.
He lurks but will occasionally crawl out if there is an article about Democrats losing something or to attack Hillary or Pres. Obama.
How Presidents spend their time after their time in office says a great deal about them, I think.
Remember Gerry Ford and Ronald Reagan and both of the two Bushes just hopped onto the Rubber-Chicken Circuit, making speeches to friendly audiences for money,
Jimmy Carter, on the other hand, travelled the world watching elections, and travelled the country swinging a hammer to build houses, (he’s still doing that, lately, and collapsing in he heat, bless his heart).
And now we have Barak Obama working to do something worth doing not for himself, but for the nation.
I find the contrast quite telling.
Okay, I feel better now. When Pres. Obama had a birthday recently, and I learned he was 56, I got a little irritated. I couldn’t retire at 56, and neither can he! Good God I miss him!
"I’m here to tell you what’s next.”
PREACH!!!
The front page headline was a sucker job. I realized that as son as I saw the headline on the article.
Can you imagine the public reaction if a former Republican President did what Obama is doing?
Me neither.
Self enrichment versus public good? Wonder if there’s any parallels for those priorities, politically?
Oh… I’m certain that is just coincidental. Or… it would be insensitive to discuss that at this time… Or… what about her e-mails?
I’m working on you getting banned.
