Discussion: Obama Civil Rights Head: Trump Comments 'Racist, Repugnant, and Reprehensible'

And coming from anyone in the GOP, reliably repeatedly repetitively redundant…

So are Steve King’s, as well as most of the “thinking” in the GOP and their base.

What do they think animated birthers and tea partiers?

It was and remains white “greivence” over losing a privileged status in society and fear of being outnumbered by “diversity”.

“His words were racist, repugnant and reprehensible and they have no place in our political discourse.”

Why stop there? They’re bad for national security and they’re going to push whole continents closer to China.

The GOP will remain a silent enabler. They care nothing for ANYTHING except money and power. Legislating, working for constituents? Ha.

Don’t be so pessimistic. Several GOP legislators will express mild disappointment while on the way to vote for whatever the shithole in chief wants them to vote for. What more do you want?

OK - get this: even after his “shithole” remarks which are burning his ass like a brand from the Ponderosa, he STILL attended an event in honor of Martin Luther King, and had to flee when a reporter asked him, “Mr. President? Are you a racist?” He didn’t even take the time from running away in little-girl fear to respond emphatically, “NO! I am NOT a racist!”
Just when I think that he is the most stupid person on the planet, he adds another galaxy to the roster.

"Mr. President, are you a racist?" Pres. Trump leaves event honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. to shouted questions over his immigration comments. https://t.co/ZCFm2m6X8K pic.twitter.com/opuNHfPjFn

Somebody may have posted this already today, but Don Lemon has a moving segment where he:

  1. goes after the people who defend Trumpp “no matter what”
  2. notes that “it’s more important for level headed people to be strategic rather than outraged. Otherwise, it becomes a sky-is-falling situation every time he says something dumb or stupid or racist.”

CNN has started giving Trumpp the fair coverage he thinks he wants.

…and Republican.

Gavin Newsom, CA Lt. Gov and front runner in 2018 governor’s race, is calling for PuPPet to resign. No, PuPPet will not do so, yes, PuPPet will tweet some stupid shit about him at 4 a.m. or from the 18th hole of a golf course, whichever comes first.

Cotton was the other. Missed that. Thanks. Not surprised.

Trounce came into the Presidency a basic vanilla racist but after a year of learning on the job, he’s really getting his racism act down pat.

February is Black History Month. The best is yet to come, right after he finishes praising MLK in a monotone speech with some black conscripts standing by

MLK Matters like BLM does.

It shouldn’t be humanly possible to insult a nation and entire continent in one breath while honoring one of their greatest heroes and mentors in the next.

The list of insultees grows exponentially. Trounce took a giant leap forward for racism by going from hating colored people in general to lumping them into an all inclusive mono-culture of despise. The only good thing to say about this is that he may be running out of places to insult.
Unless he goes back for more and really professes his disgust for anything and all things having to do with blacks.

Everyone gets it. The people insulted do and the foghorn of a dogwhistle to the troops was heard loud and clear.
