You may be right. If Obama would have said the Iran deal was the worse mistake in his life and that he wished someone would undue the deal so he and his family wouldn’t have to live the rest of his life in infamy, Spanky would have kept the deal…
I wish we had a sufficiently normal (wo)man in the presidency, of either party, that Obama did not feel the need to violate a longstanding norm and criticize his successor. I think that, as a general rule, it’s healthier for democracy when an ex-president rides off into the sunset, or at least lays low for a term or two.
But we don’t have a normal man in the presidency. Stuck between a (ba)rock and a hard place.
I assume the point of Kerry’s diplomacy was to remind people that Trump won’t be president for too much longer and as soon as sane leadership is restored in this country the US will return to its commitments under the JCPOA.

I think Obama had to break silence here. This is a terrible decision on Trump’s part who probably first had a greater than Fox New’s understanding of this deal when the president of France told him what the deal actually was. Of course, who will this help the most? The Russians.

Great statement, but the print is so tiny that even when I go to Twitter and try to open the statement in a new tab and magnify it, it’s a bit hard to read and some of the final paragraphs seem to be missing. My eyes have been destroyed by reading things in all caps.
