It’s hard to believe that after nearly six years in office, President Obama still hasn’t realized that Republicans oppose everything he says or does. If he’s calling for peace, we’re going to have riots. That will show him!

Why should Ferguson residents remain peaceful? They’ve just been told, in no uncertain terms, that they have no claim to law, no claim to walk the streets, no claim to believe the police will not gun them down indiscriminately and make up whatever story is necessary to exonerate the murderers. If I lived in an environment like that, I’d be on street every fucking day, screaming my head off. Being “peaceful” just isn’t on the itinerary, Prez.
Geez, what’s he supposed to do? Get up there and say “Hey Fergies! Create as much mayhem as possible?”

With all due respect Mr. President, I understand your history in America is different from that of those of us whose roots are embedded in this country. The deep distrust comes from decades and centuries. They don’t have any intention of eliminating the discrimination. That’s why they treat you with the utmost disrespect.
Stop thinking that they will ever change. Once you accept that fact, you’ll feel a whole lot better. I promise.

You know, President Obama isn’t the Magical Negro to black people. That stuff only works with progressives. President Obama is clearly making cooing sounds to whites, who are the ones who can’t quite figure out what’s wrong with “the blacks.”
If you’re a black man who has been repeatedly and unjustifiably stopped by the police, then the Mike Brown killing is a trigger. No one is talking about “how DO we train the police not to shoot first.”
Who has the heart to tell the folks of Ferguson and elsewhere that their country doesn’t intend to listen. All those stand your ground laws and open carry laws were designed for this very moment.

I think you missed my point. I have no idea to which party the rioters belong. I’m simply reminding all that in general, Republicans oppose anything to come from this president, reasonable or not.
It only logically follows that a call for “peace” from this President would meet with opposition from the Party That Disagrees With Everything He Says.
