Once you make an oath to be stupid, it’s hard not to keep it…

“Reuters reported
that four men at the protests who carried military-style rifles and
wore bulletproof vests identified themselves as members of the Oath
Keepers, a loose-knit national organization of current and former
military and law enforcement officers who pledge to defend the
Constitution. A man who identified himself only as John told the news
outlet that they were protecting a journalist from conspiracy theorist
Alex Jones’ website, Infowars.com.”

Journalist?? Alex Jones is hiring actual journalists? Who’d lower their standards to work there if they’re a real journalist and not just a hack writer?
And I ask again…what’s the Jade Helm angle in this?

In the tradition of the South African Oath Keepers.

I can only imagine if four black men showed up “open-carrying”.
Fun times!

…and no Oather arrests were made for indecent exposure, or endangerment.

They were so hoping that someone would scare them…{{{{{{sigh}}}}}}

The news outlet reported that the police department said it would consult with the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorneys Office about whether it was legal for the Oath Keepers to open-carry at the protests.

Progress is at times agonizingly slow and irritatingly bureaucratic.
But this is actually progress.

The local cops should look into if these ammosexuals were carrying full auto rifles. If so then ask for their federal licenses. Of course Bobby Jindal would say “It’s not the time to be asking these questions.”

What happened to beat the living shit out of 'em , throw 'em in jail and let the law take care of it later?

Guess they weren’t sitting in the McDonalds.

Oath Keepers, a batshit national organization of crazy, old, white guys armed to the teeth who pledge to offend and harass minorities.

I thought the Oath Keepers were those guys who vociferously assured us us they loved their wives, of all people, then all all went camping together.

That’s one scary lookin’ emblem.

They sure aren’t acting like they’re pledged to defend the Constitution… as in equal justice before the law… among other parts they like to ignore.

Does anyone really doubt that if this were black militants instead of white militants they would either be dead or locked up by now?

What would have happened if they had been BLACK PANTHERS exercising their “Right to Open Carry”?
A bloodbath, that’s what. The National Guard would have been called back in and gone house to house shooting as they went.
Oathkeepers is a Racist/Fascist group and they should be arrested for impersonating Police Officers as they have no license to perform ANY kind of Policing or Security duties.
The Police Chief needs to make a MUCH stronger statement than: “both unnecessary and inflammatory” or it will devolve into open warfare.
Of course the Old Guard in the Ferguson Police Dept. are happy to let it to “Show those Ni(CLANG!) who’s boss!”

At first so did I; but that would be the “Promise Keepers”

The stupid fucks (nothing else to call them) showed up last week at a small town here in Montana. It seems they were summoned by some RWNJ mine claim owners in a dispute with the BLM over extraction rights. The tea baggers have come out of the woodwork with comments in local papers supporting the oathkeeper morons.
