BTW: Really good short piece on the ‘Oath Keepers’ in Mother Jones in 2010 by Justine Sharrock. It’s a very good look at these loony, potentially lethal and dangerous hate filled Wingnuts who went from ‘cautious and angry’ under Bush to ‘outright insane fear, paranoia and anger’ after Obama’s election to the presidency. Well worth a read.

They only like(d) the idea when they believed they had a majority. Now that they are beginning to understand they are in the minority, it doesn’t sit so well with them.

Unfortunately, the next step many of them may decide to take is dog-whistled as a “2nd Amendment remedy.”

most of these guys think the declaration of independence came from the constitution…

So many of their constitutional “rights” they claim to defend are actually manifested in the Declaration much more than the Constitution.

They really don’t know what they want, other than being able to determine how their fellow citizens live their lives.
