Haha… Well played. Senator Sanders, your turn now.

It would be nice if all the D canidates stuck to being positive about each other.

“Well, I almost defeated the worst candidate in history in the 2016 primaries. I don’t have anything to prove to Biden or Beto—no matter how much I respect both of them”

He got everything right with that answer.

I suspect that will be the case with all but one candidate, or if it comes down to two candidates at the end. But I don’t think the party is going to put up with the bullshit we saw last time.

“we’d be very lucky to have Vice President Biden in this race.”

It’s a bullshit answer IMO. If your favorite candidate is on on the 2nd rung of candidates and drops out b/c they can’t raise enough money to continue, you can thank phony Joe, who, for some selfish reason, thinks he’s everybody’s favorite. It would be tragic to see Sen Warren back out simply b/c she can’t raise enough funds to continue.

I remind myself everyday I hear both Biden and Sanders names mentioned for President that both are 77 years old and both will turn 78 this year. Needless to say, will both be 79 next year when the election is held. If both are to serve two terms, which is what I want in a candidate, not some 4 year stint that will never right the ship of state after tRump, that’ll take each of those candidates to 87 years old by the end of their second term. No. Fucking. Way., for me at least. Can we talk about the women, like Warren, who already they’ve talked about being too old for this race, even though most women outlive men, and is several years younger than both of these men. The things these men the press ignore routinely is despicable in my opinion in comparison to these men that are running. My two bits.

O’Rourke and Buttegieg are so youthful they make Joe Biden look like Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump look like…Donald Trump.

I like Buttegieg. He’s impressive. O’Rourke…I’m not sure what people see in him.

Yes, it would be nice if a certain Democrat-of-convenience would stick to being positive about the other Dem candidates, unlike in 2016 when he sent his wife out to repeat Republican talking points against his main rival.
But, I mean, we can’t expect fucking miracles now, can we?

That’s just not how politics works.

We could go back to the beginning of the primary system and even there we would find candidates hostile to each other, and wanting to defeat each other.

You mean that dried out orange peel with mold growing on the top of his head?

Joe Biden is actually 76. B.S. is the oldest candidate. But your point is still valid.

Bingo!

That’s correct…He’s 76 with a birthday in November of this year. If he were to win, he would turn 78 shortly after the election. My point still stands.

I get emails from Beto almost every day and it starts out about visiting 254TX counties. And I think WTF?
Look he was good for TX as Senator as opposed to Cruz, but President? I have to have more than 254 counties.

As I said, I’m agreeing with you.

Oh I SO hope you are right. They can pick apart each others’ policies all day long, but crappy ad hominem attacks have got to be off the table.

I know he’s been a solid vote for the oil and gas companies in Texas too. Its where he got all of his early money in order to run for his House seat. I find him opportunistic but I suppose many of those running for President fall into that category in some ways. I just want more than that. Still…I don’t think his environmental commitment for a green energy economy or reducing carbon in the atmosphere will be very progressive overall…and the clock really is ticking on that. He doesn’t even say what he believes the top issues for him should be. At least with most of the other candidates I know what they see as some of their top issues even before announcing their candidacies.

Also, he could easily run against Cornyn and more likely win that seat than win the Presidency, thereby adding to the number of seats we need to turn the Senate blue.
