Discussion: NYT: Two Women Allege Donald Trump Touched Them Inappropriately Years Ago

Trump: I never touched any of these women outside the locker room. Ever. I may have done stuff to them in my Locker Room.

I thank God and Donald Trump for getting my named out of the headlines.

If the claims of the Clinton accusers are to be believed , HO, then so are these. Has that skank, Kellyanne, commented?

Anybody want to take bets on whether Trump sues? His lawyers could tell him what the discovery process would look like.

Skank? Really?

The BITCH in me wants to see Hillary put these three women on the front row for the third debate

Time for those re-endorsers to start re-de-endorsing.

Yep. She got her start in the 90s, going after Clinton.

He said that he did this stuff to women. And women are now saying that he did this stuff to them.

What’s not to believe?

(Though it is not getting as much coverage, walking into the changing rooms of beauty contestants, including teen beauty contestants, is a pretty disgusting invasion of privacy.)

Robert Costa is on Rachel Maddow. Apparently Bannon wants to sue media outlets over this. Trump wants to double/triple/quadruple down on the primal scream against Bill.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!

Don’t underestimate their bravery in coming forward. I’m afraid of what his supporters will try to do.

In a perverse way, this validates what he said on the bus, though. This doesn’t come out if he’s still Star Trump, not Candidate Trump. Very sad.

As much as I am happy he has been caught in yet another lie, the question that is already out there and has to be answered is, why has it taken this long for these stories to come out?

I have absolutely no doubt as to their veracity, but it looks awfully sketchy that this stuff didn’t just happen and could have been revealed last year when DT was an also-ran among 18 other candidates.

Yes, I agree with his definitive answer on Sunday night, DT opened the door to investigation, but that doesn’t answer the question as to how none of this was generally known before now.

Can we point to this as an example of the abysmal failure of the press? The abysmal failure of the GOP to vet its candidate? The tremendous carelessness of an electorate to know who/what it was supporting? The apathy of downticket party members that, as long as he was winning, there was no need to check out this seamy underside? Did NO ONE think to ask ANY questions??

And will this have an impact on his flailing campaign, whose viewers could not possibly be surprised by these revelations after the tape last week?? Will it reduce his influence with his supporters, who (up to now) have not cared a whit for all the previous revelations, but are only interested in burning things down and blowing things up?

Are there really all that many undecideds left that would use this information to make a decision when they have had so much information up to this point?

This guy is by no means qualified to be on a ticket at any level. But the major failing in this election cycle has been that, despite all that he has said and all that has been said about him, he is on the ballot for one of the most important jobs in the world. We are all guilty for allowing this to happen the way it did. No one said, ‘wait a minute…’.

In a phone interview on Tuesday night, a highly agitated Mr. Trump denied every one of the women’s claims.

“None of this ever took place,” said Mr. Trump, who
began shouting at the Times reporter who was questioning him. He said
that The Times was making up the allegations to hurt him and that he
would sue the news organization if it reported them.
…
If trump had not done this I doubt he would be “highly agitated”. Instead he would be confident in his approach. There may be something to this. So I guess people are talking…he he heh.

By next Wednesday they may have to move to a larger venue if they’re going to seat all the women who come forward.

A lotta folk here said “wait a minute”. But nobody with real political influence (senators, reporters, tv talking heads) did.
