But we must proceed very very slowly on impeachment. Very slowly. Deliberately. No rush. Don’t even talk about it.
Maybe in 2021. Or the first of Octember.

Not surprised; I think I had assumed this was the case. And it’s not the only instance. Something recently – maybe something I saw on Rachel Maddow, or maybe it was in the New Yorker – said that Trump had overridden the recommendations of security officials not to grant top secret clearances for no fewer than 30 people.
My mom had to get a security clearance once. It was a lot of work and they don’t mess around—the FBI visits people you know and asks a lot of questions. Nobody else but Kushner would get away with “amending” a form about foreign contacts two dozen times or 47 or however many it was. He treats it like a joke. And he’s as crooked as a dog’s hind leg.
And that was a typically false Tweet. Donald J Trump: Liar in Chief. And he dares to call Cohen a liar. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black…
Appropriate avatar, since everything is over-the-top now…

likely code-word classified well beyond TS.
I worked on a nuclear submarine; clearances were not handed out like Halloween candy.
ETA: @mattinpa
I was clearance officer on the boat - the process was non-trivial and we were proud that we EARNED our clearances. I was cleared for beyond rumor once; I’ve since been downgraded to comic books and Clancy novels.
Why thank you. Finally decided to put my picture up. Only took a few years of membership.
Nancy probably spoke sharply to him after that, maybe even threatened to take away his bribes campaign contributions from the DCCC.
“Don’t worry for me, well I’m all right, lord knows I"m having a natural good time.”
“Pocket full of money, gonna boogie all night; there ain’t nobody tell me that’s crime”
Citation?
I loved you in Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans.
No, I think it was pretty serious even though I’d never been through a clearance before or after that time. I was in an office and think we had one from Department of Defense and Atomic Energy Commission. Doubt there was much on me being 19 at the time.
We already knew this.
they certainly checked your credit rating.

Ugggh. Terrible film. Don’t remind me, just kicks in my cocaine habit to deal with the stressing reality that I had it all, then lost it and had to run around making terrible movies (good God, can you even imagine having to do “National Treasure”) just to make bank.
She’s not around any more and my dad’s memory is spotty but I could swear remembering myself the FBI took a long sniff at my mom’s youthful involvement with the World Federalist Movement. This clearance thing in the '70s and I don’t think Sessions would have noticed many nose rings or tattoos among the agents of the time. Tattoos from being drunk on shore leave in the Navy, maybe.
