President Donald Trump in recent days is feeling more emboldened to behave how he wants to

Please proceed.

Trump: I’ll show you who’s Trump, you loser of a gerrymandered Congressional district!!

I have no confidence in Congressional Republicans or the American people to hold Dorito Mussolini accountable when he fires Mueller and shuts down the entire investigation. If I were someone without a conscience, like Roger Stone, I’d advise Trump to ā€œproceed.ā€ It’s gotten him this far.

NYT: Maggie Haberman faithfully pipelines nonsense from White House intended to try to normalize mentally ill behavior to prove she still has very important access.

Exactly.

I never knew ā€œemboldenedā€ and ā€œunhingedā€ were synonyms before Maggie.

Sounds more like desperation than boldness. The only source supporting the assertion Trump is ā€œemboldenedā€ was Roger Stone, who of course is the least trustworthy source imaginable. The others simply said he has thrown caution to the wind, which is obvious to anyone observing the ongoing meltdown.

A cornered rat lashing out at anything that comes near is not behaving boldly. It’s in a panic!

He might just be surprised how that works out for him. But then, he usually is.

Obama was the leader of the free world.
Trump is ā€˜ā€˜a cornered rat…in a panic.’’

Thank you for the stark description.

When has he not been Trump? He is Trump 24/7/365.

At the present time, he is a cornered Trump - cornered from many sides like he’s never been cornered before. And he is doing exactly what he could be predicted to do by anyone paying attention who hasn’t bought into the bullshit or tried to assess him as a "normal’ president or person.

If this is ā€˜Trump being Trump’ then it is small wonder why he doesn’t have any friends…and he has to ā€˜buy’ his wives.

Haberman is Trump’s virtual body man in the press.

O come on! When was he not emboldened to be Trump?

I really don’t see what reason he has for feeling desperate. Congress won’t stop him. The judiciary won’t stop him. We’ll probably have an election in November and maybe that will enable Democrats to pick up where Mueller left off. But maybe they’ll find a way to make that blue wave disappear, whether it’s Russian gremlins or voter suppression or tanks in streets. I just do not see this guy or the party he represents going quietly. And I don’t see any element of our political and judicial system standing up to him in a substantive way.

He’ll fire Mueller and we’ll all bitch about it and then nothing. He’s consolidating power, removing centers of opposition. He’s winning.

I’m so tired of hearing this. No he’s not winning anything - he’s trapped like a rat. And his party is definitely not winning.

How many more shakeups will it take before Congress realizes something is seriously wrong with the child, and must be removed from office for the good of the country, via the 25th?
