Discussion: NYT: Trump And Cohen Planned To Buy Decades Worth Of National Enquirer Dirt

The National Enquirer kept a safe of documents about hush money payments and other damaging Trump storiesā€¦

ā€¦ along with several self-storage units in Hoboken.

It has been previously reported that the National Enquirerā€™s ā€œdirt safeā€ was now empty, so whereā€™s the dirt now?

Allegedly, the Inquirer has a story about Trump grabbing the pussy equivalent of a Delta Vegan extra-terrestrialā€¦

Area 69 stuff, if you know what I meanā€¦

What other dirt can there be? Rape? Illegitimate children? More bank fraud? What does it matter at this point? Although, yes, I am curious ā€¦

So the Enquirer business model isnā€™t publishing, but extortion? Would they just be buying Trumpā€™s dirt, or dirt on other people as well? Inquiring minds want to know.

I think there will come a time when even National Enquirer readers are tired of Trump. Heā€™s overexposed and he was really only ever worth fifteen minutes of fame.

Safely in the hands of the FBI, I would think. Would Pecker and Weisselberg have been granted immunity if they had failed to hand it over?

Considering their collapsing circulation numbers, those ā€˜decades worth of dirtā€™ may be the most valuable remaining asset of the National Enquirer.

According to a former Enquirer editor, they would ā€œcatch and killā€ stories about other celebritiesā€“one example he gave was Bill Cosby and then basically extort them to do fluff feature articles for them.

ā€œSo the Enquirer business model isnā€™t publishing, but extortion?ā€

This is real story. The pr*sident is regularly susceptible to and under duress of extortion payments by a major media company. Who else may have similar information and has used the same тŠ°ŠŗтŠøŠŗŠ°, er, I mean tactics?

Right.

edited what seems less important to the point you make.

Donald used to drive a Prius to international soccer matches while enjoying lattes and arugula and wearing a tan suit.

Maybe this very clear example of attempted extortion - will help those folks who just canā€™t get their minds around why Trump acts so hinky about Russia - by opening their eyes/comprehension to the problem faced when a president is so seriously compromised.

OT. Audacity and absurdity could be the motto for the Trump/GOP regime.

Remember when some thought that Obama was overexposed to the press?? Oh, those were the daysā€¦

But more seriously, Josh has hinted thereā€™s something salacious in the Stormy Daniels stuff that 60 Minutes didnā€™t want to talk about. My guess is there are some videos somewhere that make him look like, ahem, not exactly the angry dominant male that his followers accept as part of his brand. And thereā€™s roughly a 99.99999% chance that at least once he pressured someone into an abortion, which would make things awkward for the right-wing Evangelicals if they actually believed anything.

Well I am just shocked!

Thereā€™s nothing they would have on Trump that could possibly be worse than what we know already.

The key to Donald Trumpā€™s teflon-like public life is that heā€™s never made the slightest pretense to being better than he is. Therefore no scandal has stuck. You canā€™t expose what was never hidden in the first place

Mister Pecker had positioned himself for a double penetration of two restaurant grade assholes but Bobby Mueller wrestled hold of the leash. I hope Misters Trump and his boytoy Cohen like dungeon play.
