Discussion: NYT Obtains Correspondence Between UAE Adviser And Trump Fundraiser

Sure. But he already got immunity. Think he’s gonna just burn that bridge?

This is a BFD. And Trump has got to be the world’s biggest patsy.

I understand. I’m also familiar with the arguments that unless a society comes to terms with these kinds of abuses, there’s a permanent kind of damage done. And I’ll respond the same way to every argument I hear: The sooner that SOB is out of the Oval Office, the better off we’ll be. Every minute he has the codes holds the potential for the history of humanity to end in a half-hour.

Talk about looking out for #1! He’s the new poster boy. I hope he’ll be in big trouble in the NYS court system. He won’t escape unscathed.

Immunity doesn’t count for much if Saudi and UAE intelligence services have looked you in the eye and promised to hunt you down and bleed you out for divulging matters they want kept secret.

Can you imagine what Mueller’s investigators found on his phone when they searched it?

I am afraid that no matter what is uncovered the GOP will not act upon it and will simply shrug their shoulders and say: “we know we didn’t elect saint”. They don’t care if he’s a criminal or conman as long as he gives them conservative judges and cuts the taxes. He’s here to stay. The thought alone makes me sick to my stomach.

Even if the information Kushner provided wasn’t necessary, it was still very wrong and a gross abuse of power.

And I do apologize for the hyperbole. Only one was apparently tortured to death…that we know of.

It doesn’t matter whether they actually needed Kushner’s information. What matters is that he gave it to them. No wonder Ivanka married him - he’s as big a crook as her daddy.

@pshah - it looks like we both posted at almost the same time; didn’t mean to step on your toes.

Hey, the Watergate hearings won the ratings war…
With all his star power, doubtless, Donnie can be an even bigger draw.

I thought I read that Nader fled the country.

Fashionably late is so passé.

His trial will be held in an undisclosed location, on foreign soil, conducted entirely by Gina Haspel.

Please let there be a white Ford Bronco somewhere in all of this

No worries. He and Martin Shkreli will be roomies.

John Dowd resigns.

My guess is Nader’s coming back: his business seems to be international influence peddling. He’d be at a profound disadvantage if one of his clients could extradite him to face charges in the US.

It’s increasingly obvious that Kushner will soon be indicted by Mueller. If this occurs, Trump will try to pardon him and fire Mueller. The solution is obvious: Mueller needs to (1) indict Trump at the same time as Kushner; and (2) coordinate simultaneous state (New York or D.C.) charges. This will prevent any pardon from saving either of these traitorous crooks.
