This will result in a quiet settlement/NDA and be forgotten by everybody, just like many civil lawsuits before. I want criminal cases that can’t be swept away by money.

That look on Trump’s face when he learned he had won the election–this is probably just 0.5% of all the shit he will get buried under…and despite his cognitive issues, he knew it.

This is just to distract from the New York Insurance Regulators baby killing agenda!

And the avalanche has started…

The real problem for Trump at this point is that he is not staffed up to address the massive number of investigations of him and his family that are coming on line. And at this point real lawyers will not work for Trump due to the reputational hit (and chance of losing their law license). This is going to make it really hard to resist all of these different ongoing lawsuits/investigations, etc.

But can keep his finger in the dike long enough to get re-elected?

Great minds and all that.

Mel’s not in the picture because as Michael Wolff told us in Fire and Fury she was sobbing uncontrollably and you can’t do that at a victory celebration. PP doesn’t look particularly happy either.

This is not the first time that the agency has examined the business practices involving the Trump Organization. In 2017, the agency scrutinized the company’s long relationship with Deutsche Bank, which the agency regulates and which is one of the president’s few lenders on Wall Street. The examination concluded without the agency taking any action against the bank.

Mr. Cohen’s testimony, however, provides additional fuel to advance the insurance inquiry.
