Andrea Manafort, sister of Yohai’s wife Jessica, said in text messages that were hacked, leaked online, and obtained by the Times that she believed Yohai was “running a Ponzi scheme.”
It was a Ponzi scheme. They were selling macrame doilies, doll clothes and pot holders under a licensing agreement with Lillian Ponzi, a housewife in New Jersey. See, that explains it.Man… it’s almost like surrounding yourself with shady sycophants isn’t a recipe for political success…
