As my good friend Elian Gonzalez has said: âThereâs more Russians in D.C. than were ever in Habana during the October Crisis.â
"Ms. Hicks? The FBI would like to inform you about communications you have received from a couple of known Russian collaborators. A certainâlet me make sure I have this correctâLt. Gen. Michael Flynn and one PaulâumâManafort. We urge caution in how you conduct yourself should you choose to engage further with these individuals.
Thank you maâam and have a good day."
Russian operatives? You mean like the one she works for?
I wonder if she is as nuts as the Trumps.
Is this another steaming Trumpâs pants story?
Story at NYT says There is no evidence that Ms. Hicks did anything improper except wear a goddamn crazy bow too close to her crotch.
@thebigragu trumppâs diet as related by Lâdowski concerns me. But he didnât eat the bread. Very important.
Two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches and a chocolate milkshake.
Is the FBI certain this wasnât Trent Franks still looking for a surrogate?
Heâs a sneaky little Sun Devil ya know.
The FBI sat down with top Trump aide Hope Hicks at least twice earlier this year to warn her that Russian operatives sought to make contact with her during the transition, the New York Times reported Friday.
If she was dumb enough to join âTeam Trumpâ I doubt she was smart enough to not work with Russian operatives if they found her useful. At the same time, I know sheâs a friend of Ivankaâs, but what is she doing in the WH? Did the FBI have other meetings with WH officials to warn them Russians where trying to pick them up? Maybe Iâm naive but this feels wrong, why is she treated as different?
From the New York Times article:
In some ways, the Russian outreach to Ms. Hicks undercuts the idea that the Russian government had established deep ties to the Trump campaign before the election. If it had, Russian officials might have found a better entrèe to the White House than unprompted emails to Ms. Hicks.
But after a yearlong campaign in which the Russian government frequently succeeded in making contact with people around Mr. Trump, the overtures to Ms. Hicks also demonstrate that Russian officials seemed intent on gaining access to Mr. Trumpâs inner circle by any means they could.
.
She works for a Russian operative.
So thereâs that.
The big news in this article is that Hicks was interviewed by Muellerâs attorneys for 2 days (Thursday and today) (12/7-12/8). These 2 days of testimony follow the Flynn guilty plea and several revelations and not too subtle warning shots from Muellerâs team aimed at getting people to tell the truth or face prosecution. Hicks is one of those targets. Given that Hicks was warned by the FBI several months ago about Russians trying to reach out to her, there will be little tolerance from Mueller about any lying on her part. Trump will have pressured Hicks for days to lie for him, and Iâm sure Ivanka has lobbied her too. Thatâs a lot of pressure on her, but I think thatâs also why Mueller allowed Papadopoulosâ fiance to be interviewed by ABC. She telegraphed to Hicks that there is life after Trump and you can write a book and become a mini-celebrity. But if Mueller has 2 days to talk to you, heâs gonna break you if youâre lying.
From the NYTimes story:
In a meeting in February, Ms. Hicks was told generally about the Russian intelligence efforts and pressed them for more information. A senior F.B.I. agent met again with Ms. Hicks, and provided her several names of Russians who had contacted her and whom the F.B.I. was concerned about.
And then she ran to McGahn to tell him what they told her.
Am I reading this wrong? It sounds like she was feeling out what they knew, who they had tabs on, who they were watching.
âWell, duh! Like, OMG! Like, how would I ever know because, you know, like, Iâm just a girl! Like, gag me with a spoon!!!â
I got a great laugh out of this. Then I went back and enlarged the screen. Take a look at that cleavage! That is not the way a professional woman dresses unless her boss has another idea about what her âprofessionâ exactly is.
FBI agents met with Hicks at least twice in the White House Situation Room for a âdefensive briefing,â
Yikes, the sit room, that jumps out a bit.
She reportedly informed White House counsel Don McGahn about her discussions with the FBI.
WellâŚOK thenâŚhmmmmmmâŚdeep doo dooâŚshe better get some boots because sheâs standing in it.
Looks like a package to be opened byâŚwhatever.
Oohh. is that Louis Vuitton luggage?
Stylinâ
Why are they harassing Trumpâs surrogate wife?
Look at what Ma Hamhock has turned up in at press propaganda sessions. Nothing professional about any of this get up.
Little girl, I am still laughing over your comment (pre-Scaramucci when he made Sara dress like she had not just gotten up from a nap).
I think your wording was: âWoman who wears a scarf made of human hair says what.â
You hit that one on the nail! You really crack me up! I always enjoy your wit and wisdom.
Thanks for reminding me, now Iâm laughing at my own silliness, but I was also thinking of Melâs and Ivâs hair, both have hair capes.
