Watching NYC tv. Suspect in custody w/non life-threatening injuries. Two devices a second in his vest. Man in his 20s possibly from Brooklyn. Device said to go off early. Evacuation of area done within minutes.
update. suspect injuries may be worse than initially reported. saying his might be the only injuries from explosion. explosion occurred in passenger tunnel. then the usual did he, was he, fill in time stuff we always hear.

Now saying 3 injuries unsure if that’s 3 additional or including suspect. I’m watching off and on. Saying suspect from Bangladesh. Small explosion 200ft. from terminal. Presser within the hour.

I doubt that source is credible.

My 17-year-old was on his way to NYC with his AP Spanish class to go to MOMA and they turned the bus around…

It’s early but have a stiff drink. I got a text from my daughter before any of my news feeds reported it so was breathing a sigh of relief right away.

Personally, I think it was an overreaction but that’s one thing our school district is known for.

Glad they’re all safe and sorry he/they missed this great opportunity to visit MOMA and write about the artwork in Spanish.

Trump: This blast would not have happened if Obama was never POTUS. He is terrorist-friendly and very Black.

It really indicates how far we have sunk when the answer isn’t obvious–but is this real?

Hearing all traffic from subways, roads, bridges, ferry are a mess. So sorry about the missed MOMA trip. It’s such a wonderful place.

New Yorker here. Port Authority is 5 mins from where I live (unfortunately). Walked by there on my way to Penn Station one hour ago.

It’s a nothing-burger that New Yorkers will forget once the traffic clears up. Disappointing to see TPM fall into the trap of treating suspected Muslim terrorism as front-page news while ignoring white terrorists arrested for conspiring to blow up a mosque.

Their sentences will be reduced once such a crime is reduced to a misdemeanor.
