No worries officer, there will be a position awaiting you in the Rand Paul re-election campaign.

If he had just shot the suspect in the head, this wouldn’t be an issue.

All for weed. A substance arguably less toxic than alcohol and cigarettes.

Apparently the cop wasn’t white enough to avoid the indictment.

I’m sure his defense will be, “at least I didn’t shoot him”.

Yeah TPM, allegedly he got stomped. That’s it …a boot on the head in a video is still “allegedly” a stomping.
Sheesh. He got stomped. Call it what it is.

He actually thinks he’s a member of the “can do no wrong brotherhood”.
Just proves he’s a dumb ass and deserves even more than he gets.

Um, for the record, he wasn’t indicted for ALLEGEDLY stomping on a suspect’s head. He was indicted simply for stomping on a suspects head. Saying what he was indicted for does not imply guilt.

Seems like “journalists” are getting worse and worse with the word “allegedly,” especially when it comes to cops.

Furthermore, there’s video of the act in question, which we’ve all seen. If you were witness to it, it’s not allegedly. The only thing in question at that point is whether or not he committed a crime. Which is what the court is going to decide.

Please, for the chrissakes, remove the “allegedly” and think about it next time.

You chuckin fuckleheads.

Frickin’ cop couldn’t even hold back in front of a crowd that was filming him. Imagine when they get a free shot.
This is why Deblasio said what he did concerning his own son and why you have to be very careful around the cops. There was a whole gang of them, the dude was down and they still kicked him in the head.
Speak up good cops wherever you are.

I’ve noticed that in a great number of these videos, the “resistance” offense is usually when the officer yells at the suspect to put his hands either up or behind his back despite the fact that there are 5 other officers all pulling their arms and legs in different directions. It seems that if one were ordered to put their hands behind their back, the one ordering them should, you know, FUCKING LET THEM. It’s nothing but manufactured bullshit. like when they shout “stop resisting!” to a compliant suspect while they bash them repeatedly with fists and batons and tasers.

Agree with your point about “allegedly.” However there is video evidence of the chokehold death/murder of Eric Garner as well and since no indictment was issued, ‘allegedly’ is probably the right word in these circumstances.

The good cops are as afraid of the bad cops as the rest of us. Ask Frank Serpico how that works.

Serpico, now there is a blast from the past.

The cops are getting a KGB type of reputation and its probably time to treat them like that. PoPo-the American KGB.

Indyundecided: Even in the Eric Garner case, “allegedly” does not work. Eric Garner was not ALLEGEDLY choked to death by a police officer. He MOST CERTAINLY was choked to death by a police officer. The only thing in question was whether or not the pig…ahem, policeman…in question committed a crime. The grand jury decided that was not the case.
