I’d say Bloomberg is the most dangerous man in America.
He has the power to deliver the White House to Trump, just by running as a 3rd ticket.
Bloomberg wouldn’t carry a single state, but he could tilt more than one to Trump, the best bet being Florida. Clinton would have to win without Florida.
Gives me nightmares.

The state of what is left of the “Fourth Estate,” America. This is what’s going on at Bloomberg. Mika on Morning Joe agrees to Trump’s request for softball shit. Politico folks offer politicians easy-peazy stories if they agree to an exclusive sit-down. And FOX Entertainment has never been a safe haven for journalistic ethics.

It’s almost like he wants The Donald to be the GOP nominee so he can jump in himself. Please do, sir. It will be far more fun beating 2 billionaires than just one. Maybe you will get the message. But I doubt it.

He’s not that scary to me. He has threatened to run for president more than once, and never made any serious moves to do so. Most importantly, his current threat to run for president is based on a presidential race that’s Trump vs. Sanders. That possibility is extremely improbable and growing more so every day.
Very true, there’s very little time left to assemble the necessary team and do the work of getting on ballots.

Given that for the past few months the anonymously-sourced “chatter” has indicated that Bloomberg would jump in as a 3rd party nominee should Trump and/or Sanders be the major party nominee(s), this self-censorship of his own newspapers’ stories on Trump doesn’t make sense unless he wants nothing to prevent the short-fingered vulgarian from securing the nomination so that Bloomberg can therefore make his own move.
This would raise an interesting follow-up question. If Bloomberg has a savvy and cynical enough mind for a chess move like that, then surely he’s aware he wouldn’t win in a general election and would likely throw the nomination to Trump. Why would he want that?

He promised a decision by early March, and the Clinton/Sanders race may not be fully resolved till later.
Still worried…
He ain’t running. If he won’t let his reporters write nasty but truthfully about Trump, he is not going to get on the stage with the same guy who might talk about how, along with Romney, he offered to blow him.

I think it’s more complicated than all that. These two can’t possibly get along all that well, they are totally different in temperament and style and surely competitors in who can make the most $ and I’d say Bloomberg has way more. As said above, it’s a little late to jump in now, though I guess he could find a way. It may look like he’s doing Trump a favor but I doubt it, it just looks that way for now…perhaps he has a knife hiding in his vest somehow waiting to strike when the moment is right. Maybe not, no one but Bloomberg knows for sure, but if anyone has the goods on Trump and his business dealings/failings/grifting…Bloomberg does. He was Mayor of NYC after all and he’s knows a lot of stuff that the rest of us don’t.
