A plethora of non-pardonable state charges possibly pending?

Priceless…

You’re going to need a bigger truck carry all those DOC’s to the courthouse.

Perfect. Low-key, routine investigation. Tabloids will probably ignore it.

“The right hand of city government didn’t know what the left hand was doing.”

I believe in Trump’s Murikkka, the left hand gropes while the right hand faps.

Besides, the answer is simple. Building Inspector got paid off.

“Kushner Companies did not intentionally falsify DOB filings in an effort to harass any tenants.””

Way to reveal your trial strategy there, champs. “Yes, there were 300 false filings, but it was totally an accident…all of it. Oops, sorry, we will be glad to amend them now that it makes no fucking difference.”

MSM and tabs have ignored this as well, unfolded in Baltimore where Cush ripped off his tenants and the courts upheld whatever Cush wanted to do to them.

Tenants allege that a property management firm controlled by Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner’s real-estate company has unjustly charged them fees and threatened eviction to make them pay up.

“The scandal is not only the deception of Kushner Cos., the scandal is the dysfunction of the city bureaucracy,” said Torres, chair of the city council’s investigations committee. “The right hand of city government didn’t know what the left hand was doing.”

In other words:

"We know this little fucker is so crooked he has to screw his pants on in the morning but it looks like the state suffers from a bad case of “Just leave me alone and let me collect my pension!”

Submitting false documents to the city’s Department of Buildings for construction permits is a misdemeanor, which can carry fines of up to $25,000. But real estate experts say it is often flouted with little to no consequences. Landlords who do so get off with no more than a demand from the city, sometimes a year or more later, to file an “amended” form with the correct numbers.

Repugs support 'local control bc municipal and state governments are usually more pliable and buyable.
On the other hand, as per @maximus, the Precedent can’t issue pardons for state and local offenses. I guess every silver cloud has a charcoal lining.

Dont panic - grifters usually have a good answer . " We dont remember " .

“Submitting false documents to the city’s Department of Buildings for construction permits is a misdemeanor, which can carry fines of up to $25,000.”

“The Kushner Cos. sold the three Queens buildings last year for $60 million, nearly 50 percent more than it paid.”

The fine was considerably less than the lawyer fees on buying and selling the property. It serves as no real deterrent in deals like this.

So I am not so sure I am getting on the “Let’s Hang the Bureaucrat” bus, when its on the city council/state legislature to set those fines so that they are actually meaningful.
