Is this legalese for “stick it where the sun don’t shine”?

Given the number of allegations against him over such a long period of time, it seems like Trump is always set straight.

“We welcome the opportunity to have a court set him straight.” - That is a classy response (and a great put down)

NY Times just sent Trump to the burn ward. He’ll need a massive skin graft.

““The essence of a libel claim, of course, is the protection of one’s reputation,” David McCraw, assistant general council at the New York Times, wrote in a letter. “Nothing in our article has had the slightest effect on the reputation that Mr. Trump, through his own words and actions, has already created for himself.””

I believe that the NYT’s response can be summarized thusly: Bring it on, Cheeto.

Trump isn’t suing anyone. Who ever Trump sued would have the right to take his deposition under oath about all of this. He’s not going to let such a depo happen.

Ohh no I love that lawyer’s statement dearly. It was a vicious put down.

Absolutely brilliant letter by Mr. McCraw, who is the Assistant General Counsel (not “Assistant General Council”). Kudos to the New York Times.
