Well, no one’s ever accused the Daily Caller of being wise. One of their “journalists” probably caught wind of the deleted Facebook post and thought it would be good to smear Salazar by challenging the veracity of what could conceivably be a true allegation. The DC is sort of stuck with a knee-jerk “four legs bad, two legs good” mentality, regardless of how ineffective the attack would be.
