What basis is there for the assumption that Omar was referring to â9/11â with the word âsomethingâ? It is not clear in the article.
OF course not, itâs a soundbite cut from context , I am beginning to lose my respect for retired SEALS.

But a video of Omarâs full speech shows that the disputed remark followed from comments only a minute earlier in which Omar did mention terrorism. She complained that Islam was discussed in schools only in relation to Muslim terrorists.
âIt doesnât matter how good you are if you, one day, find yourself in a school where other religions are talked about, but when Islam is mentioned, we are only talking about terrorists, and if you say something, you are sent to the principalâs office,â she said.
A spokeswoman for Crenshaw, a retired navy Seal, did not respond to a request for comment.
I hope you donât mean youâd find this cover justified if she did say 9/11 was âsomething.â
Itâs insanity: She gives a speech saying itâs unfair to smear a whole group for the actions of a few, and a month later (topical as always, NY Post), this paper dedicates its front page to smearing her with those actions.
Anyone who buys this issue is an asshole.
Some people might have done somethingâŚbut after being warned numerous times about it, it happened anywayâŚ
And the NY Post will see an nice bump in their circulation because of it.
âIf it bleeds it leadsâ is their mantra, and however they can be outrageous and âedgyâ they will.
I once put a copy of the NY Post in the bottom of my parrotâs cage.
My parrot looked at me and said: âThat would be redundant.â
Good point, I clarified that.
It was a pretty callus description on her part. A true statesmen would have said something to the effect of âBut for the actions of a few many have sufferedâ
I hope Ms. Omar has additional security. The Post and Fox will be responsible when she is hurt by some bigoted bastard who lives and breaths Fox and hatred. I am quite tired of this country todayâŚ
âI imagine one of the reasons people cling to their hate so stubbornly is because they sense, once hate is gone, they will be forced to deal with pain.â

(Soto voce): Psst, NYP. The attackers on 9/11 were Saudis.
Tomorrow theyâll do Steve King and the federal bldg. in Oklahoma City, right?
We did something in response we attacked Iraq because of someoneâs daddy.
Is your name âNobodyâ?
Because sometime soon itâs likely weâll be hearing about how âNobody could have predictedâŚâ
GOP has always been so cautious about languageâŚ
when theyâre trying to smear Dems.
Rupert Murdoch & Co strike again. Making America more ignorant every single day.
Why is Murdoch allowed to operate in USA? I hear Declan is a mini-me of RupertâŚI refuse to buy anything from a Fox or NY Post sponsor.
The same folks Jarad is cutting a deal with for nuclear technology. In any other administration the Post would have a picture of nukes superimposed on the towers.
