What basis is there for the assumption that Omar was referring to ‘9/11’ with the word ‘something’? It is not clear in the article.

But a video of Omar’s full speech shows that the disputed remark followed from comments only a minute earlier in which Omar did mention terrorism. She complained that Islam was discussed in schools only in relation to Muslim terrorists.
“It doesn’t matter how good you are if you, one day, find yourself in a school where other religions are talked about, but when Islam is mentioned, we are only talking about terrorists, and if you say something, you are sent to the principal’s office,” she said.
A spokeswoman for Crenshaw, a retired navy Seal, did not respond to a request for comment.

I hope you don’t mean you’d find this cover justified if she did say 9/11 was “something.”

It’s insanity: She gives a speech saying it’s unfair to smear a whole group for the actions of a few, and a month later (topical as always, NY Post), this paper dedicates its front page to smearing her with those actions.

Anyone who buys this issue is an asshole.

It was a pretty callus description on her part. A true statesmen would have said something to the effect of “But for the actions of a few many have suffered”

I hope Ms. Omar has additional security. The Post and Fox will be responsible when she is hurt by some bigoted bastard who lives and breaths Fox and hatred. I am quite tired of this country today…
