Astonishingly, the top recommendations of NY Daily News author Meg Warner are draconian Singapore and Ecuadorā both countries on (or very near) the blistering equator and both suffer from human rights issues, especially regarding free speech and the right to protest ruling regime policies.

The author also decries Mexican drug lords and brings up visa requirements while hypocritically deriding candidate Trump for bringing up the same.
The piece seems full of ironic hypocrisy and misguided recommendationsā¦unless an Ć©migrĆ© can adjust to roasting in a heavy handed pressure cooker of Singapore, the top recommendation, or some place less recommended.
