What puzzles me is why this, and similar items, re simply felonies. If the foundation’s bookkeeper had spent $100K of its money on his own personal expenses he would certainly be going to prison.

I heard on the radio earlier this afternoon that a judge in New York had allowed a defamation lawsuit against him from a former “Apprentice” contestant to proceed. (This is a woman suing Trump for calling her a liar when she said he sexually assualted her.) I think Trump’s legal eagles were pursuing a “you can’t sue a sitting president” argument. The judge did not agree.
On some level? Seems like on every level. Yet as Rumsfeld would say, you go to war with the family you have, not the family you would like to have.
